What do we mean by “the Tyrant”?  The Tyrant, right.  As soon as you open up an Avenue for Nemesis in your society.  And how do you do that?  I'm sorry, you reject justice.  justice is a Divinity, people. This Is how they (ancient greece) think about it.
If your Society worships Justice, you're going to be able to maintain democracy. The minute you insult justice so that she leaves, that's how they present it, you insult her. how do you insult her? By taking money, right? And as soon as you insult Justice, then democracy goes, right? So you've seen some of the standards of Justice. People are convicted, and then not punished, other people are going to be punished. People are going to be pardoned, right? What is that all a symptom of?  It's a symptom of disrespecting Justice. And when you do that you open up an Avenue, the Greeks said, for Nemesis. Nemesis gives you exactly what you deserve, and how does she do that?  She does it through the Tyrant. The agency of the Tyrant. When your age is the age of tyranny it is because you have rejected the goddess Justice.  – Dr DCA Hillman
